Stock your kitchen with plenty of fruits and vegetables, grains like quinoa, buckwheat, and oats, grass-fed organic poultry and meat, grass-fed, organic dairy products (especially fermented dairy like kefir), nuts and seeds like Brazil nuts, almonds, walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, and chia seeds, and healthy fats like coconut oil, olive oil, and avocado.
Make time to prepare foods from scratch.
I realize that in the fast-paced world we live today, we may not have time. However, it’s important to make time for your health. You could take some time on a weekend to chop plenty of salads, cook entrees that you can freeze and re-heat, and prepare healthy snacks and baked goods like granola bars and muffins that you can grab and eat on the go.
Make time to exercise.
You don’t have to spend hours in the gym. Research now shows that only 20 minutes a day of interval training is enough to burn fat and make the metabolism more efficient. So, put on your favorite music and get moving!
Drink clean water.
Find a way to filter your water in order to get rid of things like chlorine and fluoride that can disrupt normal hormonal functioning. Have a glass of water with lemon, raw honey, cinnamon, and ginger first thing in the morning on an empty stomach in order to cleanse your body.
